Experience Ability: Older Americans and Eldercare

Join us and learn from the Director of Eldercare Locator who will provide a presentation on Eldercare.gov, a public service of the U.S. Administration on Aging which connects individuals to services for older adults and their families. The Eldercare Locator database is designed to link older adults and caregivers to unbiased information and assistance resources at the state and community level. By understanding the unique work-life balance needs of caregivers, as well as the abilities brough to the workplace by older Americans, we can ensure that the USDA and other workplaces are fully supportive of all employees.

Grandcare Technology Demo Video

May is Older Americans Month. Many USDA employees are effected by the need to provide care and share information with elders. During this month, TARGET Center will provide useful resources to help support work-life initiatives related to older Americans. Grandcare provides telehealth, activity monitoring and socialization for the elderly and disabled populations.
