Nancy Frohman joined the USDA Interpreting Services Office staff in 2004. Nancy specializes in requesting and scheduling sign language interpreters for all Deaf employees at USDA who need those services for meetings and training sessions. Before joining USDA, Nancy was a graphic and web designer in the Metro DC area and Southern California. Nancy has extensive experiences in the deaf community as a counselor at a deaf camp, a mentor and Residents Assistant for the “Explore Your Future” program at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf and teacher’s aide at a speech school. Nancy was a sign language instructor and also an interpreter for a legally blind student in her American Sign Language classes. Nancy taught the Computer Business Technology courses to the deaf adults. Nancy has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from Rochester Institute of Technology.
